The Duderstadt Center is a library and resource center at the University of Michigan. It is located at the intersection of the College of Engineering, the School of Art and Design, and the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance. For a class project, I created a way-finding system and custom typeface for the building. All signage is designed to help students find study spaces and technical resources. The visual style complements the color and shape of the building itself. The geometric, monospace typeface celebrates the innovative technical legacy of James Duderstadt and the students at Michigan.
