The Sight Outcomes Research Collaborative is an ophthalmology research consortium started at the Kellogg Eye Center. The group aggregates a repository of de-identified data from the health records and diagnostic tests of partnered ophthalmology departments. The repository is made available to researchers in the consortium for use in research and quality improvement projects.
The SOURCE website is a home for people to learn about the organization, access data tables, proposal forms, and analytical tools. I worked with the whole SOURCE team to build a fully functional website using Webflow. It features custom iconography, a membership map, and a content management system for site managers to add new members, publications, and events.
I worked with the Principal Investigator, Joshua D. Stein, M.D., to create a visual identity for the consortium. With over 12 sites across the country on board, SOURCE needed a visual brand that matched their reputation as a quality clinical tool trusted by top ophthalmology departments. The logo combines two interlocking shapes, speaking to the collaborative nature of the organization. The secondary color palette draws from the common eye colors, with brown/hazel being brightened to orange.
